A search is underway for one of two men washed from rocks while fishing at Mermaid Beach, east of Albany on Western Australia’s south coast.
Police say the incident was reported at about 2.30pm on Saturday, with one of the men found soon after.
However, an 18-year-old is still missing with the search continuing on Sunday.
As well as police, marine rescue volunteers are involved along with jet skis operated by Albany Surf Life Saving and a private helicopter.
In a separate incident, a man has gone missing at Ledge Beach, in Albany, after telling friends he was going fishing.
Christopher Hoy, 36, was last seen on Thursday and his car found abandoned at the Ledge Beach car park on Saturday.
An air and search is also underway for Mr Hoy.
